Agave Tequilana Weber Azul

$9.00

All Tequila is made from Tequilana.  We have been providing ~ 3-6 inches of water/ac/yr.  Row spacing in Mexico typically averages 3-meter (9ft) row spacing by 1 meter (3ft) totaling close to 1,600 plants per acre.  We’re planting ours on 11ft centers X 3 ft down the row totaling ~ 1,290 plants/ac.  Producers in CA are reporting mature pina weights between 80-150 pounds each, with sugars (brix) running in the low to mid 30s.  While these plants are known to be more sensitive to frost than other varieties, our experience has shown temperatures in the low to mid-twenties have burn some of the leaves but have not killed the plants.
